Hi Todd- I'm having a 14×22 shed roof porch built, and they are currently installing vinyl soffit "ceiling" parallel to my exterior wall. The ceiling joists are 24″ OC and it seems like the flange nails are are properly loose. They began at the outside header, and the J-channel is sagging where it overlaps itself.
